While summer is a time that most of our community is away from campus, it is probably the busiest time of year for our all-star Maintenance team. Look at some of the highlights from their extensive list of improvements that allow our students, faculty and staff, and community the ability to enjoy beautiful campus spaces:
The team created new outdoor junior kindergarten classroom in kindergarten side yard.
The Front Office lobby got a makeover!
From what once was the former digital arts classroom, the team created a new space for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as well as the Scott Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Center for Teaching Excellence activities. Read more about this space and see it in use here!
The former tech office was re-imagined and we now have a spacious front office conference room.
The team installed wire in the science garden arbor for our growing kiwi vines and installed tree trunk seating.
And so much more, including:
- Painted JK/K pod
- Installed new carpet in 5th/6th pods
- Installed new trees in 5th/6th and 7th/8th courtyards
- Installed new outdoor bench seating in 5th/6th courtyard
- Installed wire in the science garden arbor for our growing kiwi vines and installed tree trunk seating
- Fresh paint on the overhang of 5/6 lockers and the bus barn
- Painted and rearranged employee cafe
- Painted chess board in 3th/4th grade areas
- Painted parking lot arrows and lines
- Power washed, touched up painting and cleaned carpet in every building
- Assembled furniture and did daily deliveries of teacher supplies to classrooms
- Installed new TVs in the reading room and library classroom
- Installed many whiteboards
