As we look forward to warmer weather, we can’t help but get excited about Hillbrook’s Summer Camp. This week, the spotlight belongs to Jeannette Carson, Hillbrook Summer Programs Director!
What strikes you most about the students at Hillbrook?
I am struck by the students’ kindness and their care and concern for others. What is your favorite unit or project and why? So far, my favorite summer camp has been “All Things in Motion.” I enjoyed seeing the spark in the children’s eyes as they built marble runs, egg drops, and other amazing creations.
What made you choose to teach at Hillbrook?
I was inspired by the way Hillbrook fosters the love of learning in each child and creates an environment where students can be their best selves.
What are you most looking forward to at Hillbrook in the next few months?
I am looking forward to another amazing summer at Hillbrook with fantastic children and teachers.
What is the last place you visited?
Hawaii is one of my favorite places to visit, and my children and I went to Maui in August.
