What strikes you most about Hillbrook students?
What strikes me most about HB students is their individuality. It is great to work with such varied personalities, it is a great testament to our school!

When you think about Hillbrook students, what stands out the most?
What stands out to me when I think of our students is their confidence, their willingness to speak up, and their readiness to take risks.

What is your favorite project and why?
In my near 25 years at Hillbrook, I have had the opportunity to teach a number of disciplines and grades. All things considered, it has to be yearbook. I just love to watch the editors and staff take true ownership of the whole project. I think it is a prime example of Hillbrook students (and their agency) at their very best.

What made you choose to teach at Hillbrook?
It is more like Hillbrook choosing me. I actually was invited to a school event by a close friend, whose children were attending the school at the time. I was struck instantly by not only the beautiful campus but the overriding feeling of community and family.

As we shelter in place, let’s take an imaginary trip! Tell us about the last place you visited.
I am very fortunate to have access to a private ranch where I go fishing and to do some photography. I went there back in late February.

We hope you enjoyed getting to learn more about Mr. Stamos. We miss you all!
